SEYKO is a sought-after singer, performer, and songwriter whose voice and stage presence have captivated rooms.

A lifelong student of music, SEYKO’s ability to sing smooth R&B and naturally transition to belting out soul is undeniable. A mother, a writer, and a collaborator, her heart is felt through her performances, whether that's been singing backup for Michael Bublé, working a packed house through a night of dance music with her bands The Freedom Affair and Sunu, or releasing original music as a solo artist. Her talent has led her to travel the world and share concert bills with nationally acclaimed acts like Bublé, Grammy winner Kevin Morby, and Danielle Nicole. 

SEYKO’s songwriting is on display with the 2023 debut solo release of "What I Want." Produced by Cole Bales of The Freedom Affair and Black Light Animals and co-written with DeShana Palmer and Jesse Hamilton, "What I Want" magically communicates heartbreak and wisdom over a cinematic beat, simultaneously poetic and giving dance floor energy. This unique combination of heart and presence is the fuel that powers SEYKO’s place among Kansas City’s music community. 

Her second original single, "Anybody High," also produced by Bales, is a romantic, reflective ballad that lyrically and musically climbs into the heights of a call to hope again. 

The SEYKO/Bales camp dropped a delightful Christmas tune in December 2025 called "Better to Believe," a co-write dreamed up with fellow KC artist Michael B. Tipton.
